It's hard to believe Evan is 5 today! She has been so excited to turn 5 and be able to start school in the Fall. We had dinner at one of our favorite Chinese restaurants so she could have dumplings and a huge bowl of egg drop soup. The waitress always questions us when we order her a bowl instead of a cup. She's always amazed that Evan drinks every last drop! She wanted a Little Mermaid cake, so here's my attempt. I am pretty pleased with it considering it is the first real cake I've ever done anything more than smooth the icing on.
