Meeting the Characters

When I was in 5th grade, my family went to Disneyland. I remember seeing the characters periodically throughout the park, and we would get our pictures taken with them. If you haven't been in a few years, that has completely changed! You buy an autograph book so your child can stand in line with hundreds of others to get an autograph and picture with the characters in their designated spots. At least you know when to find the one you want since it is completely scheduled. Evan really enjoyed getting the autographs and can't wait to take her book to school.

Today we saw the Pink Power Ranger but all she had time for was a hi-5 with Evan. Still, Evan loved it. Green Army Man was the first chance we had to get an autograph but didn't have our own pen. While Mike went looking for a pen to buy, I was left holding our miscellaneous items (including an opened container of chocolate milk). I was able to borrow a pen from another child and proceeded to spill milk on the Army Man as I tried to get the book, hold our stuff, and take the picture all at the same time! He jumped up like he was going to shoot and then laughed! Evan was so excited that Handy Manny kissed her, and she thought Prince Caspian was very charming! She loved the way he held her hand.
