Witch Party Continued....

The Witches of Parkridge (we're just missing Sandra)

Cheesenstein

I'll get you my pretty......
We had everyone bring either a sweet or savory dish and then voted on the best Halloween-themed treat. One of my dishes was Cheesenstein - this was an awesome cheeseball with bacon and green onions. I'm already thinking about how to form it into a wreath or Christmas tree for Christmas. The little girls ate it up with cucumbers and carrots.

Witch Party

Julie & I had a Witch Party last night. We had talked about doing it since last year but only started planning two weeks ago. I'm pretty impressed we were able to pull it off. I think everyone had a great time. We had also planned on having a babysitter, but plans fell through, so we had three little witches join us. They were all so cute! Now don't let my costume scare you. I thought I'd be an ugly witch and ended up pulling it off pretty well. I found some green glitter dust that added an eery, ugly glow. As I was putting it all together, I started wishing I had picked up a wart to bring it all together. A little tooth wax and we were done. (I just realized my camera must have been on a strange setting because some of my pictures did not turn out. Sorry!)

It's a Pajama Party!

Evan with her friend Sebastian
She's packed and all ready for a sleepover

Evan's class celebrated the end of the 'P' section with a PJ party complete with decorating a suitcase, watching Pinnochio and eating popcorn. Julie just happened to be substituting and asked me to come take pictures of the class. I'm glad she did because I had a great time and ended up with some good pictures.

Our Revel Date

We met Sara at the Revel and played for a few hours. I had to leave early to go to class and Mike did not want to keep the camera, so these are the only pictures we have.

Our Little Equestrian

Mike took Evan to ride horses this afternoon. I love the first picture - too cute! She had a great time breaking in her boots and stepping in .. uh.. well.. just guess. Evan loves to care for horses almost as much as she loves to ride them.

Princess Pumpkin

We love Halloween at our house! Last year we started a tradition that Mike carves a craft pumpkin each year so all that hard work doesn't have to be thrown away each year. This year he carved me a qitch pumkin for my Witch Party. Evan loved putting together her Princess Pumpkin.

My Sweet Cowgirl

Evan has been asking for sharp pink cowgirl boots for a long time. Since Rodeo Day is coming up at her school, we decided to get her all decked out. She can't wait to wear all her new clothes!
